Ramlala used to be attended by 1.5 lakh people on a typical day. This figure has decreased to 1.15 lakh. The intense heat is thought to be the cause of this.
The impact of Nautapa’s heatwave is also seen in Ayodhya’s religious tourism. The number of devotees who visit Ramlala attests to this. The district’s highest temperature on Wednesday was 43 degrees Celsius, and on Thursday it was 42. This also contributes to the reduced number of devotees visiting. Just 1.15 lakh devotees have attended Ramlala’s court in the last two days, contrary to the 1.5 lakh devotees who visit Ramlala every day these days.
The intense heat is mentioned as the cause of a drop in the number of worshipers. There was silence on Thursday along the Rampath that runs beside Ramjanmabhoomi Path. At 11:30 a.m., there was utter silence in the region of Birla Dharamshala, where there was little room to move. Several devotees are reportedly passing out on the Ramjanmabhoomi Path and the Bhaktipath leading to Hanumangarhi every day as a result of the intense heat.
Around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, a female devotee passed out on the Ramjanmabhoomi trail. For treatment, she had to rush to Shri Ram Hospital. Just 65,282 devotees showed up before Ramlala’s court on Wednesday; on Thursday, that figure dropped to 50,115. For the devotees’ benefit, the trust has enhanced the facilities for drinking water and shade. Along the Darshan path, fans and coolers have also been placed. In addition, ORS packets are being given out to the devotees.
