Mohammad Anwarul Azim Anwar, the MP representing Bangladesh, had been away from Kolkata for a few days. The cops haven’t found his body yet, though. The Bangladeshi MP’s presence in Kolkata was unknown to the CID, which first learned of the case when Gopal Biswas filed a missing person’s report on May 18. Asaduzzaman Khan, the home minister of Bangladesh, claimed that Anwar’s murder in Kolkata had been planned when he spoke to the media in Dhaka.
