The breach occurred on the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attack on Parliament, when floral tributes were made to those who died protecting the House.

On Wednesday, two intruders stormed into the Lok Sabha and sprayed an unknown substance, according to Trinamool Congress (TMC) politician Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, as lawmakers fled the House following what is believed to be a serious security breach.

The attack on Parliament by terrorists occurred 22 years ago on the same day of the entry. It occurred soon after flowers were being offered as an homage to those who gave their lives protecting the House.

Arvind Sawant, a Shiv Sena MP, claimed that some gas was deployed and that it somewhat irritated people. He continued by saying that neither of the two young men raised a sign or spoke, and that one of them removed a chit from his shoe.

As the House delayed until 2:00 pm, Parliament security surrounded the Lok Sabha chamber and surrounding areas. From a visitor’s gallery, attackers rushed into the members’ area. One of them let off a stream of gas from a canister. There were no injuries recorded.

Dastidar stated that the two were apprehended right away.

Khagen Murmu, a BJP legislator from West Bengal’s Maldaha Uttar, was speaking when the invaders burst in and went towards the Lok Sabha’s Well.

According to sources familiar with the situation, the invaders are being interviewed. Ashwani Vaishnaw, a Union minister, was present in the House when the breach occurred.
