On Wednesday, former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who stated he had no regrets about Mohan Yadav taking over, was spotted planting a tree in Bhopal.
Say goodbye to it and leave it alone. At a Bhopal ceremony on Wednesday, PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other BJP officials were there. Just hours before Mohan Yadav took the oath of office as the new chief minister, former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan made these remarks. “Ab vida, jas ki tas rakh deni chadariya,” declared the former chief minister while assessing the final preparations for the oath-taking event at Motilal Nehru Stadium in Bhopal.
In the most recent assembly election, the party was led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan to a resounding majority. There were rumors that he will hold the CM position for a further term. Although many were taken aback by the news that Mohan Yadav will succeed Shivraj Singh as chief minister, Singh stated he had total faith in Yadav, who serves as his cabinet’s minister of higher education.
For four terms, Shivraj Singh Chouhan served as chief minister. Following the announcement of Mohan Yadav’s name, Chouhan said, “I wanted to say humbly that I would rather die than go (to Delhi) and ask for something for myself, this is not what I do.” He clarified that he was never a competitor for the position. “A person who is self-centered just considers himself. However, the BJP is a mission, and every employee has a job to do. I’ll complete the tasks that are given to me,” Chouhan declared.
“The BJP appointed an average worker—like me—as chief minister for eighteen years. I got everything from the party. It’s my turn to give the BJP something now. “Where is the unfairness located?” stated Chouhan.
Following the release of Mohan Yadav’s identity, a video of several women sobbing in Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s presence at his home went viral on social media.
