The world is still in mourning over Matthew Perry’s passing. The actor, who was well-known for playing Chandler Bing in F.R.I.E.N.D.S., was discovered dead in his hot water jacuzzi at home in Los Angeles. It’s no secret, though, that Chandler Bing served as more than simply a fictional figure for his countless admirers around the world.
Following his tragic death, fans are honoring Matthew Perry and honoring his character, Chandler Bing. Perry, nevertheless, didn’t want his followers to simply think of him as Chandler after his passing. You did really read correctly. “The best thing about me, bar none, is that if somebody comes to me and says, ‘I can’t stop drinking, can you help me?'” he writes in his memoirs Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing. “Yes,” I can respond, and I can follow through. I don’t want Friends to be brought up first after I pass away. That should be the first thing brought up. In his memoir, Perry stated, “And I’m going to live the rest of my life proving that.”
“I’m sure people will talk about friends, friends, friends when I pass away. And I’m happy about that, pleased that I’ve performed well as an actor and given people numerous opportunities to mock my hardships online,” the actor said.
He said, “But in terms of my supposed achievements, when I pass away, it would be nice if Friends were listed far behind the things I tried to do to try to help other people.” Although I know it won’t happen, it would be pleasant.
