Leading members of the opposition coalition, the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance, or I.N.D.I.A., started critical negotiations on Friday to set out their strategies for challenging the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. - The coalition logo release has been postponed for Friday, according to Raut. “Logo is an essential component of the alliance. It won’t be revealed today, but it will be discussed in our meeting, he informed reporters.
- . The leaders emphasized the need of finalizing seat sharing and developing a shared agenda in a few weeks during informal discussions over dinner on Thursday night.
- Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, has requested a single person from each party’s leadership to join the coordination committee.
- While it is rumored that Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, informed the informal dinner gathering that the bloc should release its platform by October 2, her Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal urged that seat distribution among parties for the Lok Sabha elections be decided by the end of next month.
