The vibrant spirit of dance took center stage at the Dance to Sparkle Autumn-Winter ’24 Dance Festival & Competition, held at the Noida Auditorium on October 2nd. The event, which began at 4 PM, showcased an impressive array of performances, celebrating the artistry and passion of dancers aged 3 to 55.

Under the guidance of founder Srishti Singh, a renowned Kathak dancer and educator, students from both the Advanced and Beginners batches dazzled the audience with their skills in Folk Dance, Kathak, Bollywood Dance, and Freestyle. The festival highlighted the dedication and enthusiasm of participants from various age groups, making it a true celebration of dance.

One of the evening’s most memorable moments came from a surprise performance by the mothers of young dancers, who had been secretly training for months. Their heartfelt routine added a touching element to the event, demonstrating that passion for dance can bridge generations.

The competition featured three age categories:

5-7 years: Winners – Mayra, Purvi & Advika
8-10 years: Winners – Saatvika, Krittika & Abhiyudhya
11-14 years: Winners – Hrishita, Mihika & Tanishi
The event was generously sponsored by Pooja Cables and Shreshtha Events, reflecting strong community support for the arts.

Srishti Singh, who has been teaching dance since 2010, expressed her pride in her students’ achievements. “Seeing our students express themselves through dance is incredibly fulfilling. This festival is a testament to their hard work and dedication,” she said.

Singh is also a national winner from 2015 and has performed internationally at prestigious venues, including the National Commission for Women and the Women Leadership Summit. Her studio, Dance to Sparkle, located in Paramount Golf Foreste, Greater Noida, continues to inspire dancers of all ages.
