During the Iran-Israel war, India issued an advisory to its citizens. The Ministry of External Affairs has published guidelines advising Indians to avoid non-essential travel to war nations.
In fact, in light of the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, the central government on Wednesday urged all Indian people to follow the required safety precautions. The administration has encouraged Indian citizens to avoid any unnecessary travel to Iran. The Ministry of External Affairs has also published recommendations advising Indian residents living in Iran to remain vigilant and in contact with the Indian Embassy in Tehran.
The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement that we are closely monitoring regional developments as tensions between Iran and Israel rise. We encourage Indian citizens to avoid any non-essential travel to Iran. Given the current scenario, Iranians are urged to remain watchful and in touch with the Indian Embassy in Tehran.
