An explosion has been reported at an Andhra Pradesh medical factory. Fifteen individuals passed away while forty more have been injured. According to the news, 381 individuals work in two shifts at the factory where the explosion occurred. The explosion occurred during lunchtime, and more than 50 individuals were hurt. The death toll may rise.
On Wednesday, an explosion at a pharmaceutical business in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli district killed 15 people and injured 40 others. According to the local authorities, 13 persons who were trapped in the unit during the tragedy have been freed. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has initiated a high-level investigation into the Achuthapuram Pharma Company accident.
Vijay Krishnan, the district collector for Anakapalli, commented on the event on Wednesday, saying, “A fire broke out at 2:15
pm at the district’s Essentia Advanced Sciences Private Limited in Achutapuram. 381 people are employed by the factory in two shifts. The explosion happened during the midday meal. As a result, there were few employees present.”
CM Chandrababu Naidu shared his feelings of grief over the accident.
According to him, electricity is thought to be involved in the explosion. At least forty injured people have been hospitalized to several hospitals in Achutapuram and Anakapalli. Six fire engines from the fire department arrived at the scene as soon as they learned of the accident and began performing relief and rescue work. N Chandrababu Naidu, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has expressed his sorrow over the deaths of employees in the company. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will meet with the families of the deceased and injured in the pharmaceutical firm tragedy tomorrow in Achutapuram, Anakapalli district, according to information provided by the state’s public relations department. The accident scene will be examined by CM Naidu as well.

In April 2019, Essentia Advanced Sciences commenced operations with a Rs 200 crore investment. It is situated on a 40-acre campus within Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation’s (APIIC) multi-product special economic zone (SEZ). Similar explosions in solvent reactors at Sahiti Pharma units in the Anakapalle district resulted in two fatalities and five injuries last year.
