The government will support daughters by providing financial aid for them to pursue careers in computer applications and management.

The government will now encourage more daughters to pursue careers in management and computer applications, after engineering. Scholarships will be given in order to support daughters’ increased interest and engagement in these subjects. This prize is awarded to worthy female students in the BBA, BCA, and BMS programs who come from economically deprived areas. This plan will cost Rs 7.5 crore a year.

A senior member of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has stated that starting with the 2024–25 academic year, admissions for BBA, BCA, and BMS programs will also be handled by AICTE.

In fact, beginning with the next session, AICTE is approving the teaching of BBA, BCA, and BMS programs for the first time. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved the teaching of these three programs up to this point, thus female students attending AICTE-accredited colleges would benefit from this grant.

The number of female engineers has expanded significantly as a result of more seats and scholarships. As a result, there will now be a focus on expanding the number of females working in management and computer applications. Since scholarships are the greatest way to keep girls in these fields of study, more than 3000 deserving female students from economically deprived BBA, BCA, and BMS programs will get them starting in the coming session of 2024.

They will receive 25,000 rupees a year for this. This scholarship program aims to develop girls’ potential in technical and managerial education. Up until today, the Pragati plan offered scholarships to enhance the number of female scientists.
