In India’s capital, Delhi, the monsoon has begun. Delhi’s residents are now at ease due to the upheaval from the West. The coming of the monsoon has also brought forth new problems. Many parts of Delhi saw waterlogging on Friday morning as a result of the heavy rain. Water covered the driveways of Delhi’s ministries and high-ranking officials in addition to the streets. A comparable scenario was observed outside the homes of MPs and at the residence of Delhi Minister Atishi.

There was a serious traffic gridlock and severe waterlogging on the road in the Mayur Vihar region due to the extended rain in Delhi. People had to deal with a lot of problems as a result. In a similar vein, additional roads have the same state.

Following intense rains in Delhi, waterlogging in the Connaught Place area causes issues for commuters. The worsening conditions brought on by the rain are troubling everyone, including pedestrians and traders.

Heavy rain is falling in the entire Delhi NCR on Friday. The weather department says that it will rain heavily in the capital Delhi and its surrounding areas for the next two days as well.

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj traveled Golf Links and asked NDMC staff to drain off the water.

The area surrounding Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav’s home was flooded as a result of the heavy rainfall. It took two men to carry Ram Gopal Yadav to his car. “NDMC is not prepared; even though it has rained for a while this time, the drains have not yet been cleaned,” declared Ram Gopal Yadav. Most ministers, MPs, and union ministers have residences in this region. Also, NDMC is subordinate to the Minister of State for the Home. We had to enlist the aid of others in order to escape due to the circumstances.”

There was waterlogging in a lot of the capital’s fancy neighborhoods. Significant portions of South Delhi, such as Vasant Kunj, Greater Kailash, New Friends Colony, Saket, and Malviya Nagar, suffered waterlogging on both main roads and residential areas.
