At the first cabinet meeting of the Modi Government 3.0, a significant announcement concerning the housing plan was made. Under the PM Housing Scheme, the construction of three crore homes has been approved by the cabinet. Every home constructed as part of the program will have hookups for power and LPG. Both rural and urban areas will see the construction of these homes. During the Union Cabinet meeting today, a decision was made to support an additional three crore urban and rural families with their home construction under PM Housing. This will take care of the shortage of housing that results from more families being eligible.

Since 2015–16, the Indian government has been putting the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana into effect, enabling eligible rural and urban families build homes with just what they need. In the last ten years, housing initiatives under PMAY have completed 4.21 crore dwellings for eligible families in need. With the assistance of various Central and State Government programs, every home built under PMAY comes equipped with additional basic utilities like an operational household tap, an LPG connection, electricity, and a toilet.

This started the first cabinet meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NDA government, which is in its third term. At the meeting carried out at the Prime Minister’s residence were all of the Union Cabinet Ministers, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, and HD Kumaraswamy.

Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a speech to the PMO staff prior to the start of the cabinet meeting. According to him, we would need to go above and beyond global norms in the years ahead. He asserted that we must lead our nation to unknown lands. The Modi government’s recently nominated ministers’ department allocation is still up in the air in the interim. It is expected that an announcement on the ministers’ departments would be made by late evening following the first cabinet meeting.

“It has been my endeavor from the beginning that the PMO should become an institution of service and the People’s PMO (People’s Prime Minister Office),” the Prime Minister stated earlier. Government is a fresh force of drive, strength, and strength. Our crew does not have time constraints, thought limitations, or standards for what constitutes hard labor. A substantial part of this success also belongs to the Government of India’s workforce, who didn’t spare any effort in committing to a cause. The ten years of hard labor by every government employee had been proven by these elections. The real and major claimants to this victory are you all.
