Praising Bumrah, Rohit

After the match, Rohit stated, “Bumrah’s performance is constantly improving.” We are all aware of what he can do. I won’t say too much about him. We want him to maintain the same approach throughout the World Cup. He is a genius, and we all know it.

The Indian captain stated that despite achieving a low total, he was sure of winning the match since the wicket was unsuitable for batting. He stated, “We were confident with the bowling attack we have. When the Pakistani team was batting, we joked among ourselves that if this could happen to us, it might also happen to Pakistan.

‘The team did not bat well’
India scored 89 runs for three wickets at one point, but lost seven wickets in the next 30 runs. Rohit stated that his team should have batted better. He stated, “We did not bat well.” We were in a good position until halfway through our innings. We were unable to form an effective cooperation. We discussed how every run counts on such a pitch. Honestly, this was a better wicket than the last match.

“Batting later was easier.”

Bumrah was selected Player of the Match for the second time in the T20 World Cup 2024. In the post-match press conference, he stated that batting grew easier in the second innings, but the Indian bowlers remained disciplined. Bumrah said, “It feels good.” We scored a few less runs, and it became easier to bat until the sun came out. We bowled with discipline, which is why it feels fantastic.

What exactly did Babar Azam say ?

Pakistan captain Babar Azam stated that 59 dot balls while chasing the mark were the primary cause for the defeat. Babar stated, “We bowled well, but we lost wickets constantly while batting.” We let many balls go empty. We again failed to execute as planned in the first six overs.

When asked about the tactic, Babar stated, “We had planned to take one or two runs and hit boundaries in between, but in the meantime, we let many balls go empty.” The pitch was looking great. The ball was moving good off the bat. Now we have to win the last two matches. Our eyes are now set on the matches against Canada and Ireland.
