Manoj Ramakrishna Sanghu, a structural engineer, is the second person arrested in connection with the hoarding accident in Ghatkopar. Director of Ego Media Bhavesh Bhide was taken in detention from Udaipur, Rajasthan, three days after the hoarding collapsed. He’s under judicial custody right now.
In connection with the Ghatkopar hoarding case, a structural engineer hired by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) was taken into custody on Thursday. For the setup of hoardings, the engineer had given stability certificates. As soon as the engineer’s involvement came to light, an official stated that the Crime Branch detained him. On Friday, the engineer will appear in court.
