The man admitted that he intended to try four different animals, but logistical limitations might make two of them feasible.
Last year, a Japanese man went viral for transforming himself into a dog. Toco spent two million yen to change into a human dog. Zeppet, a Japanese company that makes costumes for TV commercials and films, took 40 days to create the man’s hyper-realistic dog outfit. The company specializes in miniatures, bodysuits, and 3-D models.
Now, discussing more about his life as a border collie, he told WanQol, “It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to become someone other than yourself. I get excited and delighted just being someone other than myself. However, because dogs and humans have distinct bone structures and the way we bend our legs and arms differs, it is extremely difficult to move in the same way that a dog would. I am now investigating movements that resemble those of dogs. It’s also difficult to clean when it gets dirty. When I walk outside, dirt gets on it, and dust gets trapped in my fur, so cleaning it takes a lot of effort every time.
Toko also disclosed to the news organization in Japan his desire to adopt the characteristics of a different animal. Though two of the creatures would not be feasible owing to logistical issues, he acknowledged that he intended to try four different animals. He stated that he would like to become any of the following four animals: a cat, a bear, a fox, or another dog.
“My goal is to attempt changing into different animals. It is possible for me to transform into a bear, a panda, or another canine. Though they are too little for a human to attempt, a fox or a cat might be good options. Eventually, I want to fulfill my goal of turning into a different animal,” Toco said to WanQol.
With almost 65,000 subscribers, Toco’s YouTube channel currently features daily life photos of him with his border collie.
