Terrorists launched an attack on Air Force vehicles in Danna Shahsitar, Surankot tehsil, Poonch district, Jammu division, on Saturday evening. The search for the attackers has escalated. A 20-kilometer stretch around Surankot and Mendhar has been roped off. The search operation will continue for the second day on Sunday. Drones and other technology are being used for searching for terrorists.
On Sunday, security forces arrested six persons in the nearby village of Gursai for questioning. During the search effort, Special Forces members arrived via army helicopter.
