A young kid has been arrested after reportedly sending an email to the Delhi Police Headquarters. The child claimed to have sent a message claiming a bomb had been planted in the Nangloi neighborhood of outside Delhi.

Delhi-NCR News : The announcement of a bomb in the Nangloi region of Delhi caused fear. Police headquarters received an email containing a bomb threat. The police were able to identify the sender of this email after conducting an investigation. The email was sent by a minor. The cops apprehended the accused.

The investigation indicated that the child had sent the mail maliciously. The police took action against the juvenile under the JJ Act. Following the counselling, the child was handed over to his parents.

Previously, emails had been received indicating that bombs had been planted in numerous government facilities in Delhi-NCR, including schools, hospitals, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the IGI airport. After receiving threatening correspondence, searches were performed in other locations, including schools, but nothing was found.

Text and audio messaging became popular :

Following the false e-mail claiming that bombs had been planted in 223 schools in the city on Wednesday morning, audio and text messages went viral on social media that evening. Bombs were allegedly discovered in many of the capital’s schools, but police are purposely withholding information from the public. The impact of these statements was evident on Thursday.

Many people chose not to send their children to school. At the same time, the police have urged the public not to believe such messages. There is no truth to these. They should not pay heed to or send these messages to anyone.
