Actor Rupali Ganguly has joined the BJP, citing a desire for progress and asking blessings and support for her new political career.
Actor Rupali Ganguly joined the BJP at its Delhi headquarters on Wednesday, ahead of the coming Lok Sabha election.
Anil Baluni and Vinod Tawde, the leaders of the party, were also present.
Ganguly praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his work, saying, “The one personality that attracts everyone towards BJP is PM Narendra Modi.”
“His working style, personality and the way he has taken our country towards development, every Indian wants to join ‘Modi Sena’ and contribute to the country, and I also felt the same and hence I joined the BJP,” she stated to reporters.
Addressing the media after joining the party, the actor stated, “When I see this ‘Mahayagya’ of growth, I feel that I should also participate in it. “I need your blessings and support so that whatever I do is right and good,” she explained.
Following his BJP membership, the actor met JP Nadda, the party president, in Delhi with the help of astrologer Ameya Joshi.
The Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress told her Instagram followers that she met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March of this year.
“Last week was unforgettable, and March 8, 2024 will be one of the most remembered and cherished days of my life! “A day I’ll never forget and feel ecstatic about,” the actress posted on Instagram.
