After getting stuck in a frozen waterfall in Kyrgyzstan, a 20-year-old Andhra Pradesh medical student passed away. Four other Andhra Pradesh students and the second-year medical student went to the waterfall.

Dasari Chandu, a second-year medical student from Kyrgyzstan, died after getting trapped in the waterfall’s ice, according to sources.

Dasari comes from from Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam, and his father runs a sweets shop.

Chandu’s family asked Union Minister G Kishan Reddy for help in returning their son’s body. Reddy called Kyrgyzstan authorities, and the process of bringing Chandu’s body back to India has begun.
