According to Ravi Shankar Prasad, there was no unity in the alliance’s members and it was formed to further individual interests.
At the INDIA bloc’s rally in Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress workers supposedly got into a dispute. The BJP leader, Ravi Shankar Prasad, termed the Opposition’s bloc a “quarrelsome alliance” and said that allies in Bihar had thrown chairs at each other.
“Today during the INDI Alliance protest in Ranchi, RJD and Congress workers attacked each other with chairs… We have previously stated that this coalition is driven by personal gain. Conflicts are arising and injuries are being caused. Where is their harmony? “If they are not united, how will they unite the country?” he said.
The BJP leader gave the parties advice on how to lead their employees.
“People are being jailed because of corruption… The country wants PM Narendra Modi and a stable government. Will the country run with such a quarrelsome alliance?” he concluded.
Shehzad Poonawalla, the leader of the BJP, said ,”the protest was held in order to oppose corruption”.
“A display to save corruption was held in Ranchi by the INDI Alliance, apparently to save the Constitution. The INDI alliance lacks a clear objective. Confusion, ambition, and politics of division are all that exist. RJD, Congress, and other party employees used lathi and stones to attack others. “What kind of ‘jungle raj’ will they bring to power if this is their character for seat sharing even before they come to power,” the man commented.
Hemant Soren was arrested, says Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, because he refused to move apart from the INDIA bloc, he claimed during the discussion.
“Hemant Soren was imprisoned for his insistence to break away from the INDIA bloc. Hemant Soren is a courageous individual who chose to spend time in prison over giving in. If the BJP keeps frightening tribal people, it will be wiped out, Kharge warned.
During the INDIA bloc rally, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal said that the Tihar administrators had intended to kill her husband by denying him of insulin. She added that Soren and Kejriwal were detained without being proven guilt. “This regime is a dictatorship,” she added.
