Sunita Kejriwal read out a message from Arvind Kejriwal, the imprisoned Delhi chief minister.
Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, held another press conference on Thursday, April 4, reading out the detained chief minister’s statement. Sunita Kejriwal stated that in the Delhi chief minister’s message from jail, he encouraged AAP MLAs to visit their constituencies on a daily basis to ensure that there are no difficulties.
“All MLAs have received a message from Arvind Kejriwal, saying, ‘The people of Delhi should not suffer in any way only because I am in jail. According to Sunita Kejriwal, “every MLA should visit their area every day and discuss people’s problems and sort them out.”
The news conference comes a day after AAP MP Sanjay Singh walked out of Tihar jail after six months and later met with Sunita Kejriwal at her apartment in the city.
Arvind Kejriwal, detained by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case related to the now-defunct Delhi excise policy, is being held in Tihar jail under judicial custody till April 15.
Notably, Sunita, Kejriwal’s wife, refrained from commenting on politics while her husband was in office and has since released three passionate video remarks.
Sunita Kejriwal introduced the “Kejriwal ko Aashirwad” campaign and urged supporters to support her husband in her most recent video message, which was posted on March 29.
Sunita Kejriwal stated in a digital media conference that her husband has confronted the country’s “most corrupt and dictatorial forces” and has requested people to bless and pray for him.
Sunita Kejriwal issued two WhatsApp numbers — 8297324624 and 9700297002 — and said people can send their compliments, prayers, and other messages to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor, who will forward them to him.
