Kejriwal is currently in jail. He was arrested on the night of March 21. On March 22, the district court sentenced him to six days in prison, which was extended by four days. On April 1, he was in prison until April 15.
Earlier, Justice Sharma refused to grant interim measures to Kejriwal and only issued a notice to challenge his arrest and release him immediately.

Mr Kejriwal is being held in Tihar jail in the national capital till April 15 after Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court extended his custody till April 1. April.

In another important case, the Supreme Court on Tuesday granted bail to AAP leader Sanjay Singh in the same case when the ED decided to withdraw tactically rather than risk a Supreme Court order that could affect the trial later.
