Before the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust published a few images of the temple’s construction drenched in night light on Monday.
The temple trust posted images of a sculpture of Jatayu, a key character in the Ramayana, put on Kuber Fort in the temple grounds, as well as glimpses of intricately carved figurines of deities, gods, and goddesses adorning the temple’s pillars and walls at night.

Champat Rai, the trust’s general secretary and a VHP accountable, tweeted images of the temple’s sanctum sanctorum (garbha griha) last month. The idol of Ram Lalla will be put in the sanctum-sanctorum of the freshly built Ram temple during the consecration ceremony, and the temple will then be opened to devotees.

The Ram Mandir, built in the ancient Nagara architecture, is a three-story shrine measuring 380 feet (east-west), 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height, according to the trust. It has 392 pillars and 44 doorways in all. There are five Mandaps (halls) in total: Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prarthna Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap.
The preparations for Ram Lalla’s ‘pran-prathistha’ event on January 22 are well underway.
Elephant, lion, Lord Hanuman, and Garuda idols, ‘vahana’ of Lord Vishnu, have been erected at the Ram Temple’s entrance gate.
Rai also revealed information about the Lord Ram idol that will be installed in the temple. He stated that the idol is in the shape of a five-year-old child and is 51 inches tall, made of dark-colored stone.
On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. At roughly 12.15 p.m., he will perform the ceremonies in the Ram Temple’s sanctum sanctorum.
Over 7,000 guests have been invited to the consecration ceremony, including 3,000 VVIPs such as priests, donors, and politicians.
