Regarding the collaboration with Shah Rukh on Dunki
“You always want to make a movie with a meaningful and good story,” Rajkumar Hirani told ANI. Shah Rukh was drawn to the story from the start. As an actor, he wanted to do something different after performing action movies, which is why he was very involved and enthusiastic about it. I had wished to work with SRK for a long time, and’mere liye vo baat puri ho gayi (I was able to fulfill my dream)’ and finally we worked together and ‘bahut maza aaya (We had a lot of fun)’.”
The film investigates ‘Donkey Flight,’ a dangerous and unlawful method used by people to enter nations such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Shah Rukh Khan co-stars in Dunki with Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, Boman Irani, and Vikram Kochhar. The picture was released in theaters on December 21 and has been performing well at the box office, despite competition from Prabhas’ Salaar: Cease Fire – Part 1, which has been doing exceptionally well.
