Vicky Kaushal, who plays Sam Bahadur in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki,’ is collaborating with Shahrukh for the first time. The actor featured on Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan season 8 and discussed the moment when Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan apologized to Vicky during the filming of Dunki. ‘He (Shah Rukh Khan) had to go to Delhi for very crucial work one day during the production. This was a crucial scene in the film for my character, and it took place with him. SRK couldn’t be there for that shoot, so I had to use a body double. He finished his duties in Delhi and then contacted me late at night,’ Vicky Kaushal revealed.

Vicky Kaushal went on to say that he couldn’t answer Shah Rukh’s call because he was at an event, but he later found a message from Khan late at night. “He texted me a long message that said, ‘Vicky, we’ll do that shot again.'” Please accept my apologies for not being present to give you the signal. I sincerely apologize.’ I then had to phone Shahrukh sir to reassure him that everything went fine and that Raju sir was pleased with the shot. I was also concerned about my ability to repeat that shot. But he demanded that we do it because he couldn’t participate in the shot. He was in a foul mood as a result of this. He arrived the following day.The next day he came to the set and saw those shots and only after being happy with them, he decided that we did not need to shoot them again,” said Kaushal.

While discussing his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal stated that he felt incredibly fortunate to meet Shah Rukh Khan and that when the opportunity to work with him arose, there was no limit to his happiness. ‘Shahrukh sir said Dunki is my best work to date. It was fantastic to meet him, share the screen with him, and collaborate with him. ‘I learned a lot from him,’ Vicky Kaushal remarked.

‘I knew there was a lot to learn from him as an actor, but what struck me the most and overpowered me was when I genuinely got to know where he stands and why he is there and why he is there.’is he the king. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Dharmendra, Satish Shah, Parikshit Sahni, and Dia Mirza in addition to Shahrukh and Vicky Kaushal. On December 21st, Dunki will be released in theaters.
