Aamir Khan and Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal were trapped in Chennai for more than 24 hours as a result of Cyclone Michaung. However, the couple was rescued on Tuesday, and images of them are now going viral on the internet. Khan and Vishal may be seen posing with the rescue team in the images.
Vishnu Vishal, now X, praised the rescue team sent by the Tamil Nadu government for rescuing them from the water on Twitter. “Thank you to the fire and rescue department for assisting people like us who are stranded,” he wrote. In Karapakkam, rescue operations have begun.Three boats were already operational. In such trying times, the Tennessee government has done an outstanding job. Thank you to all of the administrative personnel who work tirelessly.
Previously, Vishnu Vishal had published several images on Twitter notifying the public about the scenario in Chennai. Sharing photographs shot from his terrace, he commented, “Water is entering my house and the level in Karapakkam is rising rapidly.” I requested assistance. There is no electricity and no internet. There is no phone signal. Nothing. I only receive a signal on the patio at a specific place. Let us hope that I, as well as many others here, receive assistance. I feel sorry for folks all throughout Chennai. #staystrong.”
Meanwhile, heavy rains are falling in numerous districts in Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Kancheepuram, Nagapattinam, Cuddalore, Chengalpattu, and Thiruvallur. Several photographs and videos of the devastation caused by rain are making the rounds on the internet. A fleet of cars swept away at a private unit in one such video uploaded on Twitter.
