Tiger, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is due to reach theaters on Diwali, November 12. The film is projected to have a strong opening day, with advance booking ticket sales indicating that Tiger 3 is already a mega-blockbuster. According to Sacnilk, the film has already earned more than Rs 15 crore on its first day, with the Hindi 2D version contributing significantly.
According to the source, approximately 550,000 tickets were sold for the Hindi version, while 25,000 seats were sold for the dubbed versions on the first day.
Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, executive director of prominent multiplex chain PVR INOX Ltd, recently informed Press Trust of India (PTI) about the Salman and Katrina-starrer’s opening day collections, saying, ”The advances are fantastic. As far as the Diwali release is concerned, everything is on track. Diwali has traditionally been a very important and highly wanted date for producers to release their films. Big films have been released on Diwali for decades, and almost all of them do well since it is a time when people are out and about osable income is available to entertain themselves.”
Tiger 3 is the third part in the Tiger franchise and fifth film in Yash Raj Films (YRF)’s Spy Universe.
Also starring Emraan Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, Revathi, Riddhi Dogra, and Anant Vidhaat among others, Tiger 3 is set to release worldwide this Diwali on November 12 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
