The eighth edition of Koffee With Karan has returned, and since then, the show has taken the social media world by storm. Several contentious video from the show’s past seasons, in addition to the current one, are making the rounds online. One such video is from Deepika Padukone’s debut appearance on Koffee With Karan in the third season alongside Sonam Kapoor. In the show, Deepika made fun of her ex-boyfriend Ranbir by suggesting that he should support a condom company.
Currently, a different video of Ranbir from Simi Garewal’s 2012 show, India’s Most Desirable, is going viral online. In it, the Saawariya actor can be seen reacting to Deepika’s comment.
You know, I was there on the day that they were filming the episode,” Ranbir stated in the short video that went viral on Reddit. In my trailer, I was. Both of them came to my trailer after the program was over, and they were really kind to me and talked to me. I had no idea what was going on back there.
“I think after the episode was aired, there was a lot of hoopla around me about that episode,” he continued, speaking about the response he received from viewers of the television episode. It didn’t really affect me negatively. Not that I was hurt. Deepika still has my utmost regard. I had a fantastic friendship with her. She’s got some issues with me, therefore I think it would be more polite of her to call and talk to me instead of speaking in front of others.
Regarding what Deepika and Sonam said about him on Koffee With Karan, Ranbir remarked, “I still respect her even though she didn’t do that.” I still hope she has the finest possible life. Sonam, I didn’t know why she said what she said. It’s okay if individuals choose to mock me or make fun of me in any other way; that’s their life.
Alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri will all play significant roles in the movie. Animal’s original December release date has been rescheduled to December of this year.
