On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that during his third term, India will rank among the three largest economies in the world, declaring that the nation will keep growing.
“Based on previous performance, India will overtake China as the third-largest economy in the world during the third term of our government. While speaking during the inauguration of the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) complex, now known as Bharat Mandapam, the prime minister declared, “This is Modi’s guarantee.
The prime minister claimed that 13.5 crore people had been brought out of poverty in the previous five years using information from the Niti Aayog report.
International organizations claim that India’s terrible poverty is about to come to an end. This indicates that the choices and policies implemented over the previous nine years have been leading the nation in the right direction, according to PM Modi.
In an attack at opponents, Prime Minister Modi stated that some people have a tendency to criticize and block beneficial efforts.
“Many stories that were breaking news were going on the front page of newspapers as ‘Kartavya Path’ was being developed. Although it was argued in court as well, the same individuals supported it when it was built. The ‘Toli’ will certainly embrace the ‘Bharat Mandapam,’ and it’s also possible that they could visit us to give a lecture at a seminar, according to PM Modi.
The prime minister highlighted that in order to move forward, we must set ambitious targets and think large. India is moving forward with the concept of “Think Big, Dream Big, Act Big,” he claimed, because of this.
In the presence of Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister for Commerce, and other ministers, Modi revealed the name of the new facility using a drone. India’s largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination is the IECC complex. The complex is among the best exhibition and convention complexes in the world in terms of the covered space available for events.
Under India’s leadership, the G20 summit will take place at the IECC in September. The leaders of 20 countries, including the US, the UK, and China among others, will attend the meeting.
Approximately 3,000 visitors, including Cabinet ministers, business leaders, celebrities from the film industry, and others, joined the inauguration ceremony.
