Ajit Pawar, the leader of the NCP and the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, declared in the state assembly that Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen (CM My Dear Sister) will be adopted. Every woman will receive Rs. 1500 per month under this. The plan happens to go into effect in July 2024.
Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, stated on Friday that the state budget for 2024–2025 will include a financial support program that will provide eligible women between the ages of 21 and 60 with a monthly allowance of Rs 1,500. Four months before the state elections in October, in July, Pawar, who oversees the finance portfolio, announced in his budget speech to the assembly that the “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana” will be put into effect.
He announced that the programme will receive a yearly financial allocation of Rs 46,000 crore. The Finance Minister announced a new welfare program called the “Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana,” which will offer three free LPG cylinders annually to a qualified family of five.
Ajit Pawar, the leader of the NCP and deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, declares: “We will give a bonus of Rs 5000 per hectare to all farmers for cotton and soybean crop in Maharashtra.” Also, we would reward milk-producing farmers with an extra Rs 5 per litre.” The government increased financial aid for deaths caused by animal attacks starting on July 1, 2024; family members will now receive Rs 25 lakh instead of the earlier sum of Rs 20 lakh.

In the budget, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar declared that there will be a reduction in gasoline and diesel taxes in the Mumbai area. The Mumbai region is set to lower its diesel tax from 24% to 21%, which comes in a decrease in the cost of diesel.
