A Mumbai to San Francisco Air India flight left 25 hours later than scheduled. There were also a lot of sick passengers during this period. The airline gave a reason for this as well.
There were many difficulties for Air India passengers flying to San Francisco. For a number of factors, the Air India trip from Mumbai to San Francisco was severely delayed. According to reports, this flight was delayed by a whole 25 hours instead of just one or two hours when it was supposed to take off on Friday evening at 4 p.m. There have been multiple reasons offered for this delay.
It was expected that the flight will depart before sunrise Saturday. In spite of this, at 5:30 p.m., it left for San Francisco. How many people were on the airplane is unknown, however. The passengers reportedly sat in the aircraft for around five hours on Friday. Following this, the plane’s flight time was rescheduled.
The Boeing 777 aircraft’s flight schedule, according to an airline spokesman, was set for 4:00 PM on Friday. Technical problems caused the trip to be delayed at first, and after that, some passengers started to feel ill and left the aircraft. The official went on, “It was thought that the flight would arrive in San Francisco at night and that there would be restrictions as well when a few passengers got ill at about 7:00 pm. The crew’s duty time that exceeded was also taken into account.” The airline paid the travelers’ lodging expenses and rearranged flights, according to the official.
