New Delhi:<\/strong> Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to the Election Commission (EC), demanding immediate action against BJP workers allegedly involved in attacks on AAP members. Kejriwal has outlined four key demands in his letter, emphasizing the need for fair and peaceful elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Kejriwal’s Demands to the Election Commission<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
In his letter to the Chief Election Commissioner, Kejriwal highlighted multiple incidents of attacks on AAP workers and urged the commission to take stringent measures to ensure the safety of party members. The four primary demands made by Kejriwal include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deployment of Independent Observers<\/strong> \u2013 Kejriwal requested that independent election observers be stationed in the New Delhi Assembly constituency to oversee law and order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Security Assurance for AAP Workers<\/strong> \u2013 The AAP leader urged the Election Commission to take necessary steps to safeguard party workers from violent attacks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Suspension of Involved Police Officials<\/strong> \u2013 Kejriwal demanded the immediate suspension of police personnel who failed to take action against the perpetrators of these attacks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Immediate Arrest of BJP Workers Involved in Attacks<\/strong> \u2013 He called for the prompt arrest of BJP workers accused of attacking AAP members.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Kejriwal Accuses BJP of Open \u201cHooliganism\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Arvind Kejriwal has leveled serious allegations against the BJP, stating that the party is engaging in open hooliganism as it faces an imminent defeat in Delhi. He claimed that the BJP leadership, including Home Minister Amit Shah, is behind these violent acts, directing the Delhi Police not to take action against BJP workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDelhi is witnessing a massive wave of support for AAP, and seeing their inevitable defeat, BJP is resorting to violence. The party is scared and desperate, which is why its workers are attacking our volunteers openly,\u201d Kejriwal alleged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kejriwal Urges People to Record and Share Videos of Violence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
In response to these attacks, Kejriwal has appealed to the people of Delhi to document any instances of BJP\u2019s alleged hooliganism and share them on social media. However, he urged the public to prioritize their safety while doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf you see any acts of violence or hooliganism, record a video but ensure your own safety first. Post it on social media so that the entire country can see how BJP is trying to suppress democracy in Delhi,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Public Should Unite Against BJP\u2019s Violence: Kejriwal<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The AAP leader stressed that as the election approaches, BJP\u2019s seat count is dwindling, while AAP is heading toward a historic victory. He asserted that the BJP is resorting to violence out of panic, and such incidents must be condemned by the people of Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe people of Delhi have never witnessed an election like this before, where a party in desperation is attacking political opponents with impunity. I urge the citizens to unite against this violence. We are launching a new hashtag campaign to highlight these incidents. If you face any attacks or harassment, share them using the hashtag on social media,\u201d Kejriwal added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Election Commission Yet to Respond<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
As of now, the Election Commission has not issued an official response to Kejriwal\u2019s letter. With the elections drawing closer, all eyes are on the EC\u2019s next move and whether it will take action against the alleged perpetrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This development adds another layer of intensity to the Delhi Assembly elections, as political tensions between AAP and BJP continue to escalate.
