In Amritsar’s Dabuji hamlet, a violent attack on an NRI has been reported. Two suspects entered the house at 7 a.m. on Saturday and opened fire on NRI Sukhchain Singh in front of his elderly mother and children. Sukhchain has been wounded by two bullets, and his condition is critical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout this time, the innocent youngsters repeatedly folded their hands in front of the attackers. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV. The injured NRI had only returned from America a month ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The accused requested for the car’s documentation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The research indicates that on Saturday morning, NRI Sukhchain Singh was at his residence. The defendant arrived by bicycle. Sukhchain Singh objected when they asked him to produce the car’s paperwork. The accused then pulled out a revolver and shot him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sukhchain\u00a0Singh\u00a0was\u00a0hurt\u00a0and\u00a0was\u00a0taken\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0hospital\u00a0by\u00a0family\u00a0members;\u00a0his\u00a0condition\u00a0is\u00a0still\u00a0critical. ADCP\u00a0Harpal\u00a0Singh\u00a0arrived\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0scene\u00a0and\u00a0began\u00a0an\u00a0investigation\u00a0as\u00a0soon\u00a0as\u00a0he\u00a0was\u00a0informed\u00a0about\u00a0the\u00a0occurrence. The\u00a0CCTV\u00a0set\u00a0up\u00a0outside\u00a0the\u00a0house\u00a0makes\u00a0the\u00a0accused’s\u00a0faces\u00a0quite\u00a0obvious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In this matter, DGP Gaurav Yadav has asked the Amritsar Police Commissioner to take severe action. Special DGP Rajendra Dhoke has also been assigned responsibility for the probe. There’s a disagreement between him and his in-laws about this. Sukhchain Singh had also received death threats approximately five months prior.
