Tiwari’s Maruti Swift went passed a woman waiting to cross the road before crashing with a divider, according to CCTV evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dhanbad : Bollywood star Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law passed away in an accident in Dhanbad on Saturday. Rajesh Tiwari and his wife Sabita Tiwari, Mr Tripathi’s sister, were driving from Bihar’s Gopalganj to Kolkata when the accident happened on the Delhi-Kolkata NH-19 around 3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tiwari died on the spot, while his wife remains in critical condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CCTV footage of the highway accident was captured. The video from the scene of the accident shows Tiwari losing control of the Maruti Swift he was driving as it sped past a woman waiting to cross the street and crashed into a divider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms Tiwari went to Shahid Nirmal Mahato Medical College in Dhanbad after the accident and is presently being monitored at the hospital. According to physicians, she suffered a major head injury, which was confirmed by a CT scan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Tiwaris’ relatives, Mr Tripathi, the Mirzapur celebrity, has been reported.
