Mumbai: Actress and model Roslyn Khan has filed a defamation case against popular television actress Ankita Lokhande. The controversy erupted after Roslyn questioned Hina Khan’s 15-hour-long surgery, leading to a heated exchange between Roslyn and Ankita. The legal battle has now intensified, with Roslyn claiming that Ankita made defamatory remarks about her character.
Defamation Lawsuit Against Ankita Lokhande
Roslyn Khan took to social media to share official legal documents regarding her defamation case against Ankita Lokhande. In her post, she alleged that Ankita called her ‘cheap’ in response to her questions about Hina Khan’s medical treatment.
“I raised legitimate concerns regarding Hina Khan’s cancer treatment and surgeries. Instead of answering the questions, Ankita Lokhande chose to insult me and label me as ‘cheap.’ She also asked Hina to focus on her health rather than respond to my questions,” Roslyn wrote.
Roslyn’s Questions on Hina Khan’s Treatment
Roslyn Khan revealed that she has also reported the matter to the local police. According to her, some fan pages were allegedly instructed to post derogatory comments on her social media accounts.
Despite the ongoing drama, Roslyn continues to question the details of Hina Khan’s medical procedures. She expressed skepticism about the claim of a ‘15-hour-long surgery,’ arguing that Hina’s activities post-treatment were contradictory to someone undergoing extensive medical procedures.
“How is it possible to engage in scuba diving, snow sliding, and various stunts right after undergoing chemotherapy and a super major surgery?” Roslyn questioned.
Rakhi Sawant Dragged Into Controversy
Apart from Ankita Lokhande, Roslyn Khan also mentioned Rakhi Sawant in her statements, accusing her of interfering in the controversy and escalating the situation further.
“Rakhi Sawant always looks for opportunities to insert herself into ongoing issues. The entire country knows her reputation, and I do not need to say much about her. She has debts in several places, and I have already presented Supreme Court papers in the past that indicate she was under orders for arrest upon her return to India,” Roslyn alleged.
Roslyn emphasized that she had spoken her mind on the matter and did not wish to waste any more time or attention on Rakhi Sawant.
