CM Yogi’s Remarks on Kumbh Mela and Opposition’s Silence

CM Yogi took a dig at the opposition, remarking that those who had earlier questioned the arrangements of the Kumbh Mela are now silently taking a dip in the holy waters. He emphasized that the grand Kumbh event will continue until February 26, allowing devotees to participate in the sacred rituals. He further revealed that by now, nearly 50 crore devotees have taken a dip in the holy waters of the Maha Kumbh.

Major Announcements on Police Recruitment and Women Empowerment

During his speech, CM Yogi also addressed the issue of police recruitment, stating that in previous governments, vacancies were announced, but unemployed youth struggled to secure jobs. “Today, under our government, police recruitment is being conducted in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring that talented individuals from all districts get opportunities based on their capabilities,” he said.

He further announced a significant step towards women’s empowerment, declaring that 20% of the police jobs have been reserved for women. He assured that training for the new recruits would commence within the next two months and that the state police force would gain an additional 60,000 personnel by the end of the year.

With these developmental initiatives and strategic policies, the Uttar Pradesh government aims to strengthen law enforcement, enhance agricultural growth, and ensure a successful Maha Kumbh event, reinforcing its commitment to the state’s overall progress.
