New Delhi: As the exit poll results for the Delhi Assembly Election 2025 come out, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has strongly reacted to the predictions. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Kejriwal questioned the credibility of the surveys that claim the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to win 55 or more seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly.

Kejriwal Questions BJP’s Alleged Outreach to AAP Candidates
Arvind Kejriwal, in his post, alleged that despite exit polls showing BJP in a comfortable position, their leaders are reaching out to AAP candidates, attempting to lure them into switching sides. “If BJP is getting 55 seats, why are they calling our candidates?” Kejriwal wrote, further alleging that 16 of his party’s candidates have received calls from BJP leaders with offers of money and ministerial positions in exchange for defecting.

AAP Alleges BJP Offering Crores to Candidates
Kejriwal claimed that BJP has offered Rs 15 crore to each AAP candidate to join their party. “They are saying, ‘Leave AAP, join BJP, and we will make you a minister,'” he said. The AAP leader dismissed the exit polls as “fabricated” and accused BJP of trying to manipulate the political atmosphere in Delhi.

Exit Polls a Conspiracy, Says Atishi
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi also reacted strongly to the exit poll results, terming them as part of a larger conspiracy. In a social media post, she questioned BJP’s alleged actions. “If the abusive party (BJP) is winning over 50 seats, why are they trying to break our candidates? This proves that exit polls are part of a conspiracy to manipulate the narrative and weaken AAP,” she wrote.

BJP Dismisses Allegations
Meanwhile, BJP has dismissed the claims made by AAP leaders, calling them baseless and an attempt to divert attention from their impending defeat. “AAP knows they are losing badly. These are tactics to create unnecessary controversy,” said a senior BJP leader.
Political Heat Rises Ahead of Official Results
With political temperatures rising in Delhi, all eyes are now on the final election results. The official counting of votes is scheduled for later this week, which will determine whether the exit polls hold true or if AAP can pull off an unexpected comeback.
