Karnataka: Siddaramaiah told reporters, “If opposition parties demand my resignation based on false allegations, should I resign?” We will respond to these charges and reveal the truth to the public.”
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated on Saturday that he will not quit due to the opposition’s ‘false claims’. He stated that he will convey the genuine scenario to the people of the state.
Siddaramaiah told reporters, “If opposition parties demand my resignation based on false allegations, should I resign?” We will respond to these charges and reveal the truth to the public.”
Following the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land allotment case, meetings of Dalit and Scheduled Tribe leaders are taking place within the Congress Party. When reporters inquired why these actions were taking place, Siddaramaiah responded that people were forming unfounded speculations.
Following the special court’s ruling, the Lokayukta police filed an ECIR against Siddaramaiah, his wife Parvati, and others on September 27. This order from the special court comes as the High Court supported Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot’s investigation into Siddaramaiah.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also filed an ECIR against Siddaramaiah, alleging irregularities in the allotment of 14 plots. MUDA resolved on Tuesday to reclaim 14 plots given to Siddaramaiah’s wife.
