Fateh Sherif, according to the Israeli military, was accountable for Hamas’ terrorist activities in Lebanon by collaborating closely with Hezbollah operatives, as well as Hamas’ endeavors to recruit operatives and obtain weapons in Lebanon.

The Israeli army claims Fateh Sharif, the leader of Hamas’ Lebanon wing, was assassinated. The IDF stated in a social media post that Fateh Sharif, the head of the Hamas terrorist organization’s Lebanon branch, was killed in a precise hit by the Israeli Air Force.

Sherif worked for Hezbollah and recruited boys.

According to the Israeli military, Fateh Sherif was in charge of Hamas’ terrorist activities in Lebanon, including collaboration with Hezbollah operatives, as well as Hamas’ attempts to recruit operatives and procure weapons in Lebanon.

“Action will be taken against those who pose a threat to Israel.”

The IDF also stated that Fateh Sharif was a member of a recognized United Nations Relief and Works Agency and the chairman of the UN Relief and Works Agency Teachers’ Union in Lebanon. The IDF and ISA will continue to take action against anyone who threatens Israeli civilians.
