According to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the free three-cylinder plan and the monthly and annual grants of Rs 1,500 and Rs 18,000 to women correspondingly are presents to sisters for Rakshabandhan. The scheme to waive farmers’ electricity payments is also ongoing.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde declared on Sunday that all of the programs included in the state’s latest budget, which included monthly support for women and three free cylinders, are long-term. He said that plans for these programs had been developed. Prior to the assembly elections, Uddhav Thackeray, the chief of the Shiv Sena in Uttar Pradesh, has accused the state government of enticing female voters with the “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana.” It was his assertion that the program will be canceled in two or three months.
Speaking with reporters in Nagpur, Shinde stated, “The three-cylinder free scheme and the scheme that gives women Rs 1,500 per month and Rs 18,000 annually is a Rakshabandhan gift to sisters.” The scheme to waive farmers’ electricity payments is also ongoing. Every monetary arrangement has been made. This is a long-range plan.”
The head of the Shiv Sena (a UBC) has stated that, in order to support reservation for Marathas and other communities without compromising the interests of Other Backward Classes (OBCs), the Center should approve a bill in Parliament raising the reservation cap by 50%. He claimed as many programs are being introduced. This is a pre-election ploy to win over female voters. Those courses only last for two or three months.
