State Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited relief camps in Kamrup district on Sunday and assessed the conditions of the residents. The district government was instructed to furnish every necessary aid by the Chief Minister, who also engaged with the residents living in the relief camps.

In addition, CM Sarma went to a school in Nahira Guimara and spoke with the residents there. The Chief Minister met 236 individuals who lived in various camps there, according to the CMO. The Kamrup district administrators were instructed to make sure there was a sufficient supply of all necessary commodities during this time.
