Assam government : Took Drastic measures, dumping bulldozers on accused’s home & encroaching on government land.

Five people’s houses in the Goalpara district of Assam have been demolished. They are all three accused with murder and rape. They had all legally encroached over federal land, according to officials.

According to a district administration official, the accused erected their homes in Tangabari village on land owned by the government. In this case, notices were sent to each of them earlier. The officer went on to say that since the notice was ignored, authorities were moved to remove the encroachment.

Three of the five people whose residences were razed, according to another official, are suspected of raping two young girls. In addition, the three are charged with murder in the same case.

Locals, on the other hand, assert that the announcement was delivered to the encroachers on Saturday, while officials maintain that it was issued fifteen days prior. The homes with concrete and tin roofs were torn up by bulldozers. There was also lots of police officers there at the time.

Let us inform you that two young girls were raped by three individuals on May 3 of this year. Following this, there was an argument between the accused’s community and the village of the girls. A young man was gravely hurt during this, and on May 17 he passed away. Following this, Jayanta Malla, the state’s minister of tourism, met with families of the victims and declared that such events would not be allowed.
