Heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh have caused numerous landslides and a cloud burst in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
All of the nation experiences the southwest monsoon, with the exception of a few regions in western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab. In the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, there has been a cloud burst, while in Himachal Pradesh, severe rains have resulted in several landslides. Many houses have been affected by debris, roads have been blocked, and numerous cars have been buried in the debris.
Different regions of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir have seen heavy rainfall. The monsoon is expected to arrive in all of the nation during the next two days, according to the Meteorological Department’s prediction. Over the next four to five days, there will probably be substantial precipitation across North West, Central, and East India. The majority of Northeast India will also see floods of rain at the same time.
At three in the early hours on Friday, there was a cloudburst in the Doda district’s Thathri Bazar area. As a result, debris covered Thathri town’s whole market area. In addition to a few residential buildings, a few parked cars on the Batote-Kishtwar NH 244 also were stuck in the debris. The road was closed for a number of hours.
