Atishi has been charged with defaming the BJP and damaging the party’s reputation by making untrue claims against it. In the appeal, State BJP media leader Praveen Shankar Kapoor claimed—in a completely false accusation—that Atishi and leader Minister Kejriwal were claiming the BJP had broken the AAP MLAs by offering them money.

Praveen Shankar Kapoor, the state chief of the BJP’s media wing, filed a defamation complaint against Delhi government minister Atishi. The matter is scheduled for hearing on July 23 before the Rouse Avenue Court. The court ruled that the incorrect address prohibited the summons from being served. Atishi did, however, make appearance via video conference with her attorney. Her attorney, who is present in court, has been sent a copy of the complaint.

Attorney Shoumendu Mukherjee for BJP politician Praveen Shankar Kapoor stated that Atishi, the accused, showed up by VC with his attorneys and argued that the summons was not sent. which strikes me as an extremely stupid argument. He will now have to appear for the trial and request bail on the following date.

Let us inform you that Atishi faces allegations of inventing claims against the BJP and damaging the party’s reputation. In the plea, Praveen Shankar Kapoor made an utterly false claim that Atishi and Chief Minister Kejriwal had accused the BJP of bribing the AAP MLAs. The party’s reputation has been harmed by this.
