Sensex Opening Bell: The domestic stock market is down on the fourth trading day of the week. On Thursday, the Sensex plummeted more than 150 points in early trading. On the other side, the Nifty faltered and fell below 23850.
The domestic stock market is fluctuating on the fourth trading day of the week. After dealing with the initial setback, the market rose to a new all-time high. However, selling resumed in the market at higher levels. For the first time on Thursday, the Sensex exceeded 79000 points. Simultaneously, the Nifty approached 24000 for the first time. During the trading session, the Sensex set a new high of 79033.91. During this time, the Nifty reached a high of 23,974.70.
Earlier, on the fourth trading day of the week, the local stock market fell. On Thursday, the Sensex plummeted more than 150 points in early trading. On the other side, the Nifty faltered and fell below 23850. During this time, tech stocks were under pressure. At the same time, India Cement’s shares rose by 11%. At 9:40 a.m., the Sensex lost 69.58 points (0.08%) to 78,653.62. On the other side, the Nifty fell 48.40 points (0.20%) to 23,846.75.
