The weather service says that a western disturbance is becoming more active in and near Himachal Pradesh. As a result, throughout the next five days, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi may see rain, thunder, and strong winds.

Thunderstorms and rain are possible in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. At lower elevations, east winds are also coming from the Bay of Bengal. This means that for seven days, there’s a chance of sporadic down in Uttarakhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

There’s a chance of heavy rain on June 24 and 25, in certain sections of eastern Uttar Pradesh, and in some parts of Uttarakhand from June 23 to June 25. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will arrive in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh within the next three to four days. Six Madhya Pradesh districts went through monsoon. In just 48 hours, a heat wave claimed 40 lives country.
