The fire department personnel arrived at the location after getting the information. After an hour of laborious work, the firemen hardly had the fire under control.
A huge fire started in the woods next to Vishwanath, Katarmal, and Dotiyal in the Salt development block on Saturday as well. The forests continued to burn throughout the day, but the accountable parties never made it to the scene. The entire day, the forests kept on fire. In addition, the forests of Richi and Sauni in Ranikhet continued to fire. The residents said that the forest department personnel managed to put out the fire in some way.
