N Chandrababu Naidu stated during the NDA meeting that our government will not play a game based on the three capitals. Amaravati is our capital. The capital is Amaravati.

Amaravati will be the only capital of the state, according to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu, who announced this statement the day before he was sworn in as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Naidu was speaking to a joint gathering of TDP, BJP, and Janasena MLAs. He was selected as the NDA’s leader in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly by a unanimous vote.

He declared during this that our government will not play a game in the name of three capitals. Amaravati is our capital. The capital is Amaravati. Following the partition of the state, Chandrababu Naidu was selected as the first Chief Minister. The Chief Ministership was held by him from 2014 till 2019. First, Naidu had proposed Amaravati as the capital.

But when Naidu lost office in 2019 and the YSRCP, led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, won with a huge victory, his plan was disrupted. After that, Reddy rejected the plans for the city of Amaravati and came up with the concept of three capitals, which Naidu has since rejected in favor of a single capital.

In the most recent Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, the TDP, BJP, and Janasena combination won handily. In the assembly elections, the NDA alliance secured 164 seats. It achieved an astonishing triumph in the Lok Sabha elections, securing a commanding majority of 21 seats. The idea of establishing Amaravati as the capital has been given new vitality by this mandate.
