Travelers visiting Nainital and its environs have started to pour in. Since visitors started arriving in the morning, the majority of the parking spots in the city’s hotels had been filled with cars.
Visitor numbers to Nainital and its surrounding areas started to rise. The majority of parking spaces are full with cars in the morning due to the start of the holiday season in most of the city’s hotels. A shuttle service will be started from the city entrance if the demand for traffic on cars continues to rise.
After arriving in Nainital, tourists had a good time at the Tibetan Bhotiya Bazaar, Mall Road, Snowview, Hanumangarhi, Barpathar, Himalaya Darshan, Zoo, Cave Garden, and Pant Park. They also rode the ropeway to Snowview. A lot of tourists went boating in Naini Lake, while those who enjoy riding horses have made their way to Barpathar. Following an increase of visitors to the city, there was a still greater number of cars in the parking lots of Tallital and Mallital.
According to SP Traffic Harbansh Singh, a weekend traffic plan has been released. Shuttle services will be offered from the city’s main entry points—Russian Bypass, Narayan Nagar, and Pines—once all parking spots are filled.
