For a month, the train schedule was affected by the farmers’ agitation. Trains headed for Jammu and Punjab were operating by rerouting. On May 20, the farmers’ protest came to an end after a month, although the train speed remained unaltered.
Train speeds remain unchanged even after the farmers’ movement at the Punjabi border of Shambhu was put an end to. In the scorching sun, trains continue to compel people to wait for 12–13 hours. The Jammu rail timetable is becoming more and more difficult. Additionally, special trains are in bad condition.
The trains’ schedule was delayed for a month as a result of the farmers’ unrest. Trains bound for Jammu and Punjab were run by redirecting their routes. The farmers’ protests came to an end on May 20, one month later, but train traffic didn’t get any better. There were around 20 trains that delayed passengers on Wednesday and Thursday.
